There was a missile defense article in National Review, October 2nd
I was shocked to read the article titled “A Missile Defense Agenda” by Thomas Karako who is identified as a senior fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and is also the director of its Missile Defense Project.
He laid out the necessities to have a viable defense capability land, sea and air and space given the accelerated pace of other nations’ development of missile readiness, capacity and willingness to use it. Just contrast that with the way he laid out such programs as a “starvation diet” under the Obama Administration.
Unfortunately, it appears the Trump Administration has not yet come to grips with the dire state of our current non- readiness.
In truth, with the Senate’s failure to confirm nominees and the Administration’s failure to fill vacancies with nominees – in too many instances: Justice – FBI – military = Obama holdovers who still run the show.
Ash Carter just the other day on TV said what was happening now was just following up on what previous administration had laid out. Of course, he did not reveal how budget item after budget item had been cut due to sequestration and other things.
COUNTRY’S DEMOCRATS MUST FACE UP TO FACT THAT WELFARE FOR ILLEGALS, IDENTITY POLITICS AND RIOTING AT COLLEGE – WHEN A NON-RADICAL CONSERVATIVE IS THERE TO SPEAK …
DOES NOT SUBSTITUTE FOR PROPER FUNDING OF THE MILITARY TO PREVENT CHINA OR RUSSIA OR IRAN FROM BECOMING CAPABLE OF TERMINATING THE UNITED STATES!
The latter confluence is the undeclared wish of the current Democratic Party.
