The White House and State Department have sought to regain greater control over U.S.-Israeli policy. They decided to require White House and State Department approval for even routine munitions requests by Israel, officials say.
Instead of being handled as a military-to-military matter, each case is now subject to review-slowing the approval process and signaling to Israel that military assistance once taken for granted is now under closer scrutiny.
In an op-ed in The Times of Israel, David Horovitz: imagines what Hamas leaders must think about this news:
From Hamas’s point of view, it must be a source of immense delight to witness the strains, and practical fallout, in the relationship between Washington and Jerusalem…
All it needs to do, Hamas can only conclude, is keep firing at Israel’s towns and villages, forcing Israel to respond, confident that this will bring still more criticism down on Israel as well as growing restrictions on Israel’s ability to defend itself. Wow, the Hamas leaders must be thinking, the free world is just so dumb.
SO YOU SEE, FOLKS,
MOSLEMS OUTNUMBER JEWS ABOUT 100 TO 1.
EVENTUALLY WITH ISIL AS OBAMA REFERS TO LEVANT, HEARTLAND OF CALIPHATE
EVENTUALLY, THERE WILL BE NO MORE ISRAEL.
And it’s Jews’ fault because all through history, from Balfour to the San Remo conferences, they never insisted on their rights under international law,
Always lackeys and beggars,
…and, have no sense that we’re the reason G-d created all he created.
